Since we’ve opened, Acadiana Jiu Jitsu has been dedicated to changing the lives of our students one person at a time. We take pride in providing a community for people to come together and train in a fun and safe environment; a place where anyone can share and appreciate the principals that have been proven to enrich the lives of many through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. Throughout all of our programs, students will not only learn the necessary skill sets to protect themselves, we stand behind our realistic and practical approach, confident it will enable every member to achieve greatness and live their best life..
We achieve this by setting realistic goals for our members and instilling accountability in a way that only martial arts and fitness training can provide. We want our members to be able to apply lessons learned in our programs to better prepare for the struggles encountered in everyday life.

Get To Know Our World Class Instructors
Professor Heath’s overall goal is to share a positive, productive, life-improving environment for others the way martial arts has provided for him. Martial arts have truly improved his life in amazing ways and he hopes to provide similar changes to all he teaches.
Although competition is a very important aspect of his life, his true passion is teaching. Passing on the skills and methodologies to others the way he was taught to preserve the integrity of the BJJ Revolution Team banner. His motto, “Integrity through Accountability” is on display every time you step on the mat with him.
Heath is an avid Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor, currently ranked as a BJJ Revolution Team Black Belt, and has over a decade of experience. He has studied under Tim Credeur and Josh Artigue since 2008 and has been instructing under the BJJ Revolution Team banner since 2012. In addition to teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he was also the head coach for the Acadiana High School Wrestling Program (2009-2016) and has produced the first Division I state champion for the program in 21 years, along with several other podium finishers.
